Seibu Railways Celebrates 100th Anniversary with the first Sailor Moon Nakayoshi Cover

Starting March 24th 2026, Seibu Railways will start operating a “Showa” themed train to celebrate their 100th anniversary.

The trains exterior will feature covers from past to present day from Kodansha’s manga magazines; “Weekly Shōnen“, “Monthly Shōnen“, and “Nakayoshi“, which Sailor Moon had its beginnings in.

This will include the iconic cover of the February 1992 Nakayoshi issue featuring Sailor Moon for the first time.

・Operating period: From March 24, 2026 – late October 2026
・Train set: 38104 set (1 set)
・Operating section: Ikebukuro Line, Sayama Line, Seibu Chichibu Line, Shinjuku Line, Haijima Line

*There may be days when the train does not operate due to vehicle operation reasons.
