Kodansha hired new translators for these, so they read differently than their previous 2011 editions.

Where are the short stories?

There are only 10 volumes in this set. The short stories are included in volumes 4, 6, 8, and 10 going back to the way the original manga was released in Japan. This is also the same for the next manga set, the Naoko Takeuchi Collection.
