3rd & Most Current Kodansha Release: Naoko Takeuchi Collection
The Naoko Takeuchi Collection (NTC) began releasing in 2022 and are the smallest Sailor Moon Manga to be published by Kodansha, the same publisher as the Sailor Moon manga in Japan.
Like the Eternal Edition set before this one, there are only 10 volumes. The short stories are included in volumes 4, 6, 8, and 10 going back to the way the original manga was released in Japan.
Almost the same translation as the Eternal Editions…
Overall, these feature the same translation as the Eternal Editions with some small updates.
Example of small translation changes.
In volume 1, They use the original Japanese name “Moon Stick” instead of “Moon Wand” in the Eternal Edition.

Box Sets
2 Sets
At San Diego Comic Con 2024, Box Set 1 was revealed. It released the following November 2024. Volumes 1-6 were housed in a special glittery box set that also included a set of 16 art cards.
Original retail cost: $77.94 USD / $101.94 CAN.
Two months after the release of the first box set, they announced Box Set 2 is coming Holiday season 2025. Box set 2 contains volumes 7-10 plus volumes 1-2 of Codename Sailor V.
These are the same volumes as above that are different thickness than their individual releases just for these special box sets.
That means the individual ones above will not fit inside these box sets because they are thicker. You can see more about this through this video.

This is the prequel to Sailor Moon that follows Sailor V’s adventures before joining Sailor Moon as Sailor Venus. These NTC versions began releasing much later in June 2025.
