Located in the heart of Harajuku, this is the main Sailor Moon Store where you will be able to find an ever-changing array of officially licensed collectibles and Store exclusive merch. They also carry items from select collaborations like P-Bandai, Banpresto, Isetan, Sunstar, etc.
The store is inside a mall called Laforet. Once you enter the building, you go down a half floor to the basement level. The Sailor Moon Store is located towards the back of the floor.

✦ Sailor Moon Store History ✦
September 2017 – April 2024
The Sailor Moon Store first opened its doors on September 23nd of 2017, and has remained opened to this day. During the first years (Sept 2017 – April 2024) the store was split between two areas: The pink side and the blue side, placed one in front of the other.
April 2024 – Present Day
In April 2024, the store was renovated into a single space where the pink side originally occupied a smaller portion of it. It was expanded more to the left and they updated the theme of the store and introduced a brand new logo as well. They included a photo opp area as well!
Store Anniversary
Every year, around the anniversary in September, the Sailor Moon store celebrates with new displays and exclusive goods.

✦ Store Bags ✦
The store charges for plastic shopping bags. They have 3 sizes to choose from and range from 20 yen to 40 yen.
You can also bring your own bag to use if you don’t want to buy a plastic bag.
✦ Store Point Card ✦
The Sailor Moon Store issues a “Point Card” for frequent shoppers. Anyone can ask for one, even if you don’t know when you will be back to the store. For every 2,000 yen you spend, 1 one of the stars on the card will be stamped. Once all 20 stamps are completed, you’ll get a free gift!

✦ Store Exclusive Capsule Goods ✦
The Sailor Moon Store has a section of gashapon or capsule machines that offer exclusive Sailor Moon goods. The goods available change throughout the year. They only take 100 yen coins, so make sure you have some!

✦ Sailor Moon Store Petite ✦
The Sailor Moon Store -petite- are mini versions of the Sailor Moon Store inside a retail store called Kiddy Land.
There are various locations.
They first opened locations outside of Tokyo in 2020. Locations for the Petite stores vary as they could pop-up in different cities around Japan, however the Osaka and Nagoya locations have remained opened for many years.
You will be able to find an ever-changing array of officially licensed collectibles and Store exclusive merch that can vary from the flagship store. For example, some sold out or even older items at the Flagship store in Tokyo, can sometimes be found here. They also carry items from select collaborations like P-Bandai, Banpresto, Isetan, Sunstar, etc.

✦ Sailor Moon Petite logo change✦
This was the first Sailor Moon Store Petit logo in 2020. The previous version had the word “Petit” written without the silent “e” at the end. The new version has an “e” at the end and also matches the style of the Sailor Moon Store present day.
✦ Shopping at the Sailor Moon Store Online ✦
The Sailor Moon store has an official online store that opened on December 14, 2021. Most of the Sailor Moon Store merchandise will you will find at the Sailor Moon store ONLINE as well. You will need a proxy to purchase or you can buy on the Japanese second hand market.
