AnimeJapan 2023 Talk Show

Two weeks ago the official Sailor Moon website announced a collaboration with the biggest anime convention in Japan: AnimeJapan 2023. A few convention exclusive collectibles were announced and the Toei Animation booth had a large panel featuring the new Sailor Moon Cosmos artwork.

A Special Stage talk event was hosted by four of the voice actresses from the Sailor Moon Cosmos movie where they chatted about getting cast in the movie, their favorite characters.

The Special Stage talk event was held last Sunday, March 26th, 2023 and broadcast on the Niconico Live website. Unfortunately the transmission wasn’t available internationally, so only those who had a VPN were able to stream the event. Here are some screen grabs of the event.

90s anime

To commemorate the release of the Sailor Moon Cosmos movies Part 1 (June 9, 2023) and Part 2 (June 30th, 2023), the official Toei Animation Museum Channel anime You Tube Channel will post episodes of the “Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon” 90s series. The Sailor Moon SuperS series will be released March 27, and the Sailor Moon Sailor Stars series will be released May 5. Each episode will be available for two weeks, and one episode a day will be released.

Theme Song Collection CD

The artwork for the Sailor Moon Cosmos movie music collection CD was released. More information is scheduled to be announced at a later date.

A new Sailor Moon Cosmos trailer was also unveiled during the panel. Watch on their Youtube Channel.

Advance Movie Ticket Cards

The 2nd advance ticket card collaboration of the Sailor Moon Cosmos movies will start sales from starting next April 14. It will be sold at screening theaters in Japan, mail order, and the Sailor Moon Store Harajuku and Sailor Moon store ONLINE.

There are 12 movie ticket card designs, 6 types for Part 1 and 6 types for Part 2.
They will have all new artwork for the 10 Sailor Guardians, Sailor Chibi Chibi Moon and the Sailor Starlights.

Loppi convenience store exclusive goods

In addition, Loppi will release a few Sailor Moon Cosmos goods at Lawsons convenience stores in Japan! Reservations will start on Friday, April 14. Details to come.

Sailor Moon Cosmos Official TikTok account

A new official TikTok account for the Sailor Moon Cosmos has been opened. They will post videos that can only be seen here, so don’t forget to follow the account so you won’t miss anything!
