Sailor Moon: Prism on Ice |

Prism on Ice has been postponed for a third time.

It’s now scheduled to show in 2023.

Back in 2019 at Usagi’s Birthday event in Japan, a brand new ice skating show featuring an international cast of talented skaters was announced. It’s worthy noting that while Prism on Ice is not the first ever ice show the Sailor Moon franchise has produced (there were a slew of children-oriented low budget shows back in the late 90s with more superficial story lines that tied back to the classic anime), this seems to be a streamlined retelling of the Dark Kingdom arc aimed towards a more mature audience.

The main cast was announced a few months after and it turned out to be a surprisingly diverse, with the lead role of Usagi / Sailor Moon interpreted by the very popular Russian skate artist Evgenia Medvedevа alongside other international performers.

Prism on Ice was set to debut in June 2020 at the KOSÉ Shin Yokohama Skate Center (2-11 Shin-Yokohama, Kohoku-ku, Yokohama City), however circumstances have pushed the performance three times to the following year. The new dates are now set for June 2023 and the changes are as follows:
