Rhythmic Gymnastics x Sailor Moon Inspired Performance
Sailor Moon fans got a nice surprise at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics this weekend! A Rhythmic Gymnastics team from Uzbekistan performed a Sailor Moon inspired routine! Their costumes were based on Sailor Moon’s fuku, all the way down to the “boots”. They used Moonlight Densetsu for some of the music!
The routine was really fun, all we could think about was how amazing this routine would be if they could have been the amazoness quartet, well quintet for them. This being the Olympics, they probably needed to all match. Darn it! Missed opportunity.
They definitely captured Moonies hearts around the world! You go QUEENS!
