Kondansha: Manga Manners Welcome Wall

Kodansha Manga Manners Welcome Wall

The Kodansha publishing company in Japan has created a gigantic “Welcome” wall mural at Terminal 2 of the Narita Airport, right before the Immigration hall. It’s called Manga Manners and uses scenes from some of their extensive manga IPs to explain Japanese etiquette that visitors will need to know while they’re in Japan. There are 13 works in total, including Sailor Moon of course! This wall will only be up until December 31st, 2024 so be sure to check it out if you are flying into Japan through the Narita Airport!

Wall reads (from left to right):

Wear kimono & yukata correctly by crossing the left side over the right.”
